Experience

Mereaira joined the Brookfields Resource Management team in July 2018. She has assisted on a number of national, regional and district level matters including projects such  as an America’s Cup direct referral, District Plan changes and reviews for various Councils and opinions on diverse issues for our Council and private clients including a number of iwi.

Mereaira was the recipient of an international leaders scholarship to attend a semester at the University of California, Berkeley to study a Masters of Public Policy. Mereaira also has experience working on Māori legal issues including treaty settlements and establishing post settlement governance entities.

Mereaira is passionate about the protection and preservation of New Zealand’s natural resources and is committed to achieving positive outcomes that are in the best interests of Brookfields’ clients.
