Stephanie joined the Litigation, Disputes & Employment team in October 2018.  She advises corporate, private and public clients on a broad range of civil and commercial litigation matters.  Her experience includes contractual disputes, debt recovery, consumer law, building law, negligence, employment issues and defamation matters.  She also has experience in matters involving territorial authorities, including prosecuting on behalf of local Councils, as well as defending local Councils, corporate and private clients in resource management and health and safety prosecutions.  She has appeared at both High Court and District Court levels.

Stephanie was admitted to the bar in 2016.  Prior to joining Brookfields, she worked at a large law firm in Auckland specialising in insolvency and Crown prosecution work.

Stephanie holds a Master of Laws in the areas of corporate governance, insurance contracts, tax and global environmental law.

Stephanie has served as an executive member of the Pacific Lawyers Association from 2017 to present.
